15 Aug New Croquet Director
We are delighted to announce that Carrickmines has a new Croquet Director, Trudy Doyle.
Croquet Captain Alan Looney said:
“The Croquet Committee are very pleased that Trudy has decided to take on this challenge. As a well-known and popular tennis player she is ideally placed to encourage more members, including juniors, to take up the wonderful game of croquet”.
New Croquet Director, Trudy Doyle said:
“I’ve been a member of Carrickmines for over 10 years, playing tennis, but now learning to play croquet too. I’ve recently retired from full-time work in IT so I’m really looking forward to the very different role of Carrickmines Croquet Director. Over the coming weeks I’d like to learn, play, and understand the game of croquet so that going forward I can work alongside all the croquet playing members to promote the game both inside and outside the club.”
