29 May Ladies Summer League Update

The second round of the Ladies Summer League commences last week. There was two outright wins for Carrickmines from Team 1 and Team 3. The results were very strong from our 1st and 3rd team each obtaining a 5 point win. Our very strong 1st team including the singles players Sinead Lohan , Ruth Copas and Siofra Watson won their matches very comfortably. Likewise our 3rd team had an excellent win over Leopardstown. Our second team had some very close games with Fitzwilliam and won 2 of their matches. Our Team 4 unfortunately came up against a very strong opposition in Glenagearys second team. Our 5th team took 2 points from Fitzwilliam and our 6th team took 2 points from St Marys. On a positive note its very encouraging to see new members of the Club who have just joined getting involved in the Ladies League and supporting the teams.
