SUMMARY:Irish Open Tennis Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Ireland’s top tennis players will get the chance to compete against professional tour players on home soil this Summer\, when the Irish Open returns to Carrickmines. \nIt will be the Open’s first staging since Covid\, and after a five year break this professional tour event will run from Tuesday 6th August to Sunday 11th August. Qualifying will be played on Sunday 4th and Monday 5th August. Prize money of €15\,000 each for the Men’s and Women’s tournaments will attract both Irish and international players working their way up the world rankings. Top Irish players will hope to emulate Peter Bothwell and Georgia Drummy’s successes\, when Bothwell won the Men’s Singles in 2018 and Drummy claimed the Women’s title in 2019.
